In the North West of Bali you’ll find the best shore dive of Pemuteran, suitable for check dives and amazing night dives. This reef is also named “BioRock Project” and is quite unique in the world. After El Ninho and an invasion of crown of thorns this reef was badly damaged. In 1997 iron frames of different forms were built here with the help of WWF. On these frames pieces of coral were attached. By low voltage electricity, these corals can grow significantly faster than they would do under natural conditions.Now we can already see a big variety of corals and tropical fishes here.
